There's a lot of comparisons between the two men. But there's one more comparison that Paul pointed out.

Paul talked about how "the law entered that the offense might abound" (5:20). What Paul meant was that the law made it obvious that we screwed up (sometimes badly). The law shows that we could not meet God's standards. However, "where sin abounded, grace abounded much more" (5:20). The Greek word for "abounded even more" (Strong 5248) has one of the root words of "hyper", so God's efforts of grace is basically going into hyperdrive. So God's grace is basically hyper-grace! God gave us great grace and His righteousness so we can recover from our screw-ups. This is the bulk of the good news.

Additionally, Paul noted that while "sin reigned in death, [...] grace might reign through righteousness to eternal life through Jesus Christ our Lord" (5:21). Simply put, the power of grace in our lives perfectly counters the power of death in our lives, and in spite of death, we will ultimately get everlasting life (after a resurrection). All that is done because of what Jesus did in spite of what Jesus did, and His hyper-grace gift is available for ANYONE (even YOU) who believes in Jesus as Lord and Savior.
